Richard Carmichael: Executive Producer
Prior to launching Frank, Richard spent ten years as Creative Director at Creative House where he did great work for top tiered firms like YTV, Nelvana, Revlon, Aveda, Edward Jones and McMillan Binch. With a strong background in design and photography, his efforts have garnered numerous awards of recognition from the design community. More recently, Richard has been spearheading Frank’s migration into the realm of Web 2.0 and the possibilities created by next generation internet technologies. Richard has the professional insight, design and execution experience only someone with fifteen years in emerging media can bring to the table.
Paul Fleming: Creative Director
Paul is not just a designer’s designer. Born in Scotland, Paul trained as a Commercial Artist in Glasgow and later as a Graphic Designer at George Brown College in Toronto. Adopting the philosophy “design is in the details”, Paul sets a no-nonsense, “take no prisoners” approach to every project he is involved with. His expertise spans print, interactive and web. Known from North America to Australia for his clean, modern design and simple solutions to complex problems, his pioneering work with Flash has earned him numerous design awards as well as the respect and adulation of his peers in the design and development community.
Aaron Vegh: CMS Development Specialist
With a Master’s degree in Publishing at Vancouver’s Simon Fraser University, Aaron Vegh brings a unique perspective to the field of online marketing. His over ten years of experience in publishing span various categories, including stints as newspaper editor, magazine publisher and columnist for several online publications. Aaron has done extensive work for Hewlett-Packard running their email newsletter strategy in Canada. In 2003, Mr. Vegh gained certification as an Information Designer from the University of Toronto. Since leaving HP in 2006, he has taken the opportunity to head up the back end web development team at FRANK, leveraging the full power of the talent and expertise he has accumulated over the past ten years.
Greg Pacek: Staff Photographer
Greg Pacek is a Toronto based photographer whose wide view documentary, portrait and editorial work has appeared in several exhibitions in Canada, as well as publications including Applied Arts, Canadian Business, Canadian Living, Elm Street, Forbes, the Globe and Mail. Ocean View, The New York Times, and Time Magazine. For a wide variety of commercial and editorial clients, he brings to every shoot a unique combination of creative sensibility, mastery of lighting and a relaxed, careful manner that sets his subjects at ease while elevating the hero within. Greg is able to zero in on the very essence of the people and places who are his subjects and capture a certain human brand clarity that can be easily integrated and extended across all marketing and communication channels.
A full complement of client service, design, copywriting, content development, production, programming and social media support staff completes this team.
